1. We need adult education teachers
According to statistics from the U.S. Job Outlook Until 2026, nationally, adult education teacher numbers are in decline by about 6% from 2019-2026. 3. Need among students
There are three types of adults that seek Adult Educators and the institutes that provide adult learning:

• Working poor: About 64% of people in the workforce are adults who have left high school without a diploma. Statistics show that about 2 million students leave high school every year and the government provides learning programs to improve their education.
• Students who haven’t earned a high school diploma: Between 5-5.5 million youth are on the streets every year who are without proper education for the workforce; youth between ages 16-24 are considered eligible for special programs that function within government programs at local high schools, junior and 4-year colleges.
• Immigrants: Adult Learning teachers are needed to teach in programs for immigrants to the United States. The U.S. Department of Education estimates 20 million adults have limited abilities in the English language. ESL programs are a great place for Adult Learning teachers to find jobs. Approximately 26% of Adult Learning Degree graduates find employment as teachers in Elementary and High Schools.
